Perfect. No problems. The moment I go to 8ths or 16ths, I can’t keep up. Yes, I know, “just divide it”. Easy to say. Easy to follow verbally too. Moment I’m dealing with clicks, if it’s and or eanda, boom not gonna get it.
I’ve been trying now for years banging my head on it. Songs that stick mostly to beat-on-the-click, no problem, then I’ll get a song with 8ths.. after tons of sweat and grunt I’ll finally get it (12x-20x the effort even for simple stuff), next song with 8ths or 16ths is like starting again from beginning. Yet a song that plays mainly with the beat, no problem, I’ll have it down pretty fast. What gives?
