That’s a good one. Be aware of the lyrics of the song and the notes as you play them.
A song gets considerably better when you know the meaning of the song.
You’ll enjoy it even more when you play and sing it. I’ve found that to be true many times myself.

Right on! Good for you.
If the guitar is already in the living room and you still don’t see it, change it’s position,
so you start noticing it again. Make the guitar shine, the moment you walk in ;)

I often play and sing songs at slower tempo to make sure my fingers are placed correctly, but also to enjoy the meaning of the words and notes, not just as a practice.

#1 rule for me is to leave my guitar out, on a stand, in an area I see it often. If I see it I play it. If I don’t see it I don’t play it. It’s that simple.
