Hi Frank,
the “h” stands for “hammer on” and the “P” stands for “pull off”.
So you need to put your first finger on the 3rd fret high e-string and then with your fourth finger (pinky) hammer on the 6th fret,
then pull off that fourth again ( in one go), so you automatically come back to the 3rd fret.

I hope this makes sense, but this is something that is easier to watch on a video then to read this explanation.
I will do a video on those arpeggios sometime.

Best,
Klaus

I commented how the blues riff was a break from scales and arpeggios BUT I selected the arpeggio link and as a newbie to tabs would you explain the high E information.

Example being 3h6p3.

Cheers

Frank

E 5-8
A 7
D 7
G 5
B 5
e 5

You would begin the the first note “A” 5 on the E string with an upstroke to fully continue in all downward picks, this is known as economy picking, also used for sweeping, however generally sweeps are much faster, but the exact same concept.
