Thanks! I agree the cycle of fifths and fourths it’s a very efficient tool for the guitar student to learn how music flows and interpret it from all the different angles that help you understand the whole picture. All the tricks will help you play music in one way or another.

But I still think it has more to offer. I guess I need to concentrate on it more. I can learn a Jazz tune by reading the music. After slowly reading/playing it depending on how long the song is, I will play it 10 times and would probably know it by heart. But to play it well takes me time. I’ve been playing one jazz exercise for over 10 years and still can not play it completely smooth.
