My sister has been interested in learning how to play the guitar so that she can play a song for her husband, but I worry that she will give up after strumming the strings for a few minutes. Maybe she should create a plan before she rents a guitar this year.

Taking guitar lessons will definitely help you make faster progress.
Still, practicing is key.
In the meantime he can practice 1-2-3-4 exercises to increase his dexterity.

My brother is interested in learning how to play the guitar so that he can perform at his school next year, but he is worried that his fingers may not be fast enough to play any songs. Maybe he should take guitar lessons to practice his dexterity.

Hi Michael,

Number 2 and 3 are a great foundation and basis for your musical life.
You could focus your playing on just those two things to keep them top-notch.
But of course we all want to learn new things and it makes our guitar journey more exciting and challenging.

Thanks for your comment
Best,
